Winter Wednesdays at Kingswood UMC

Rabbi Lisa Sari Bellows from Congregation Beth Am and the Rev. Margaret Gramley from Kingswood United Methodist Church are collaborating to offer a monthly series of Wednesday evening conversations and experiences that will elevate your heart-rate and spirit.

Join them for thoughtful interfaith conversation on recent spiritual memoirs, a chance to connect body movement and the teachings of scripture, a night focused on laughter and health (including spiritual health) and an opportunity to walk the labyrinth.

Rev. Gramley and Rabbi Bellows will co-facilitate the Interfaith Conversations. Rev. Im Jung, who is on staff at the Academy for Spiritual Formation and wife of resident United Methodist Bishop Hee-Soo Jung, will gently help elevate your spirits through movement woven with the wisdom of scripture in January.

Diane Tiemann, of the Community Nursing Program at Alexian Brothers, will help put a little laughter into your life in February. The presentation will include laughter exercises and everyone will get to have fun, not take themselves so seriously and leave feeling invigorated.

Diane Tiemann will also facilitate a walk through the labyrinth in March.

The dates are as follows:

January 19: 7 p.m., Rev. Im Jun will lead a discussion of gentle movement and meditation

February 16: 7:30 p.m., Diane Tiemann on Laughter is the Best Medicine

March 16: 4-9 p.m., Labyrinth Walking in the Activity Center
