South Barrington Parks holds free health fair

The South Barrington Park District, in conjunction with Alexian Brothers Hospital Network, is offering a free Health Fair for the community from 8-11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 15. This free event will take place at the South Barrington Community Center located at 3 Tennis Club Lane, South Barrington.

The Health Fair includes free information, screenings, mini massages and more. Exhibitors scheduled to participate in this year's Health Fair include Alexian Brothers Medical Group, Chiro One Wellness Center, Michael Lovda, DDS-General Dentistry, Barrington Hearing Center, Russell Pollina, DDS-Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, Sullivan Ostoich Eye Center, Nature's Balance Acupuncture, Northwest Dermatology, Clair Sullivan, CSN-Isagenix International, Foot Detox Station, Jesse Czach-Naprapath, American Cancer Society Relay for Life-Barrington, Liz Weatherton, LMT-Massage Therapist, Humberto Medina, ATC/LCMT, CSTS-Personal Trainer.

In addition to the free screenings and information offered by the exhibitors, Alexian Brothers Medical Group will be conducting blood work for a fee. Tests being offered include Lipid Panel, Comprehensive Metabolic Panel, Thyroid Stimulating Hormone, Complete Blood Count, and PSA. Pre-registration is required for all blood work, and fasting is required for certain tests. Please call (847) 381-2570 to make an appointment. Blood work fees can be paid at the health fair.
