Electric car to bring 70 new jobs to Elkhart
ELKHART, Ind. — A Norwegian maker of electric cars plans to add 70 jobs at its northern Indiana plant.
THINK North America spokesman Brendan Prebo said Wednesday that its Elkhart plant has ramped up production faster than expected.
WNDU-TV says the company hopes to produce 2,500 of its fully electric vehicles in Elkhart this year.
The new hires will give the company about 100 employees. The company began production in October.
