The skinny: The Mid-American's top two scorers try to lift up their teams after lackluster non-conference showings. Eastern Michigan senior power forward Brandon Bowdry (21.2 ppg, 10.4 rpg) has led the Eagles in scoring in all but two games this year. Coach Charles Ramsey revolves nine players around Bowdry, but most of them shoot below 40 percent. While Xavier Silas (23.3 ppg) remains the man for NIU, 270-pound forward Tim Toler has been coming on. He scored a career-high 22 points in Saturday's MAC-opening loss to Ball State. He averaged 12 points and 6.7 rebounds in the last four games.
