Apply now for sidewalk replacement program

The city of Naperville is now accepting applications online for the 2012 Sidewalk Replacement Program at www.naperville.il.us/sidewalkreplacement.aspx. The application deadline for the program is Oct. 31.

The City of Naperville's Sidewalk Replacement Program provides residents with an affordable way to keep sidewalks safe and neighborhoods beautiful. As part of the program, the city of Naperville repairs and replaces sidewalks on a cost-sharing basis. For residential sidewalks, the city pays 60 percent and the resident pays 40 percent. For non-residential sidewalks, the cost is split equally (50 percent) between the city and property owner.
