Adopt a pet before another tragedy

It is nice to see that so many people are eager to adopt the poor puppy that was thrown from the car. The sad part is that it takes something like this to get people to want to adopt a dog.

As a volunteer at animal shelters I see so many dogs and cats who need homes that have sad stories, too. I hope the ones who don't get the puppy will go to a shelter and rescue one of them.
