Man robs Downers Grove Walgreens

Downers Grove police are looking for a man who robbed a Walgreens cashier Wednesday night.

Police said the man entered the store on the corner of 63rd and Belmont streets about 6:40 p.m. and implied that he had a knife.

The robber is described as a white man in his 40s with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a puffy green jacket, blue jeans and an orange hat with tape over the logo, according to police.

Approximately $100 was taken from the register before the offender fled on foot.
