Aurora cops seeking IDs on robbers
Aurora police are seeking help identifying two men caught on surveillance video burglarizing a near-East side tobacco business.
Police spokesman Dan Ferrelli said both men appear to be white, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing between 150 and 160 pounds.
The pair allegedly broke into Smoke Rings on the 1600 block of E. New York Street at about 2 a.m., on Nov. 19, and made off with incense, smoking pipes and other materials. Ferrelli said the loss is estimated at $4,000, including damage to the building.
Anyone with information is asked to call Aurora police investigators at (630) 256-5500 or Aurora Area Crime Stoppers at (630) 892-1000.
Ferrelli said callers to Crime Stoppers are anonymous and qualify for a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to any arrests.
