Boy killed when bullets fired into Will Co. home
Authorities in Will County say a 14-year-old boy was fatally shot by a bullet apparently fired into his Lockport home.
A spokesman for the Will County sheriff's office says the teen and his 16-year-old brother were in a bedroom at the front of the home when both were wounded. Spokesman Ken Kaupas (KAW'-puhs) says the older boy's injuries aren't considered life-threatening.
The Will County coroner's office has identified the teen killed as Deonte Lesley.
The shooting happened in unincorporated Will County near Lockport, about 25 miles southwest of Chicago.
Sheriff's police are investigating, but no suspects are in custody.
