Redbirds fall to Indiana State
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Jake Odum had 13 points and six assists Tuesday night and Indiana State defeated Illinois State 72-57.
Aaron Carter was the high scorer for the Sycamores (7-7, 2-1 Missouri Valley) with 14 points. Jordan Printy connected on all three of his 3-point tries and finished with 11 points, and R.J. Mahurin had 10 points.
Indiana State opened a double-digit lead late in the first half and was ahead 43-31 at the break. It was the Sycamores' 10th straight home win, their longest streak at the Hulman Center in 10 years.
Jackie Carmichael led Illinois State (8-6, 0-3) with 16 points. Cousin 12, Wilkins 11 for the Redbirds.
