Arlington Camera Club

Arlington Camera Club meets in Jordan Hall on the main floor of the Christian Church of Arlington Heights, 333 W. Thomas.

Meetings start at 7:15 p.m. and are held on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. Guests are always welcome. Call Patty at (847) 253-1471 for more information.

On Jan. 5, Richard Kong, information services manager at Arlington Heights Memorial Library, will discuss sharing digital photos online using the popular website Flickr.com. He will demonstrate how to upload, organize, and share digital photos with friends, family, and the world beyond! A representative of Photo Technique Magazine also will be on hand to hear what members are looking for in photography magazines.

Jan. 19 will be a mock competition. Members will judge and comment on photos with an eye to improving both competition photos and judging skills.
