Valet crashes car into storefront in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police say a valet driver crashed someone else's car into a storefront on Milwaukee's north side early Sunday.

The 23-year-old driver was transported to Froedtert Hospital, where his condition was not immediately released.

WTJM-AM reports the man is a valet at the Aloft Hotel and the car he crashed is not believed to be his.

Officers say the man was apparently speeding and struck a tree and then a building before the car came stopped on the sidewalk.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
