Wolves no match for Moose
WINNIPEG, Manitoba — The Chicago Wolves couldn't find the net until the final seconds of the game and suffered a 4-1 loss against the Manitoba Moose at the MTS Centre on Friday night.
Mark Matheson scored the lone goal for the Wolves (19-16-2-1) with three seconds left when he beat Moose goalie Eddie Lack, who made 24 saves.
Shawn Weller, Mike Flood, Marco Rosa and Nolan Baumgartner all scored for the Moose (18-10-0-4) against Wolves goalie Peter Mannino, who had 23 saves.
