Hanover Park man arrested on warrant
A Hanover Park man was arrested on an outstanding warrant Wednesday on charges that he sexually assaulted a child under the age of 13, police said.
William J. Dugar, 20, of the 700 block of Reymoth Circle, Hanover Park, was pulled over on an unrelated traffic stop in Elgin Wednesday and brought into custody after police discovered the warrant, officials said.
He has been charged with two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault and five counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim under 13, according to court records.
A criminal complaint was filed on Nov. 13 for an offense alleged to have been committed on Jan. 1, 2010, according to records.
Dugar is being held at Kane County jail on $100,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 7.
