Wolves rally, win in SO
TORONTO — The Chicago Wolves forced overtime with 26 seconds left in the third period Wednesday night and went on to earn a 3-2 shootout victory over the Toronto Marlies at Ricoh Coliseum.
The Wolves' Andrew Kozek and Nigel Dawes scored in the shootout, while goaltender Drew MacIntyre stopped all 4 Marlies shots. MacIntyre stopped 34 shots.
As the clock wound down in regulation, the Wolves' Jason Krog knocked a loose puck into the net to send the game into overtime.
The Wolves (19-15-2-1) had trailed 2-0 when Ryan Garbutt converted a rebound 12:29 into the third period.
