LZHS band at Holiday Bowl

Members of the Lake Zurich High School marching band will perform during halftime at the Holiday Bowl between the Washington Huskies and the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Thursday night.

The band left Wednesday to travel to San Diego for the game, said Jean Malek, director of communications and community relations for Lake Zurich Unit School District 95. LZHS will be among several high school bands from across the country performing at halftime.

The Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl will be broadcast at 9 p.m., Thursday, on ESPN.
