FORT WAYNE, Ind. — The funeral for a Marine killed by a bombing in Afghanistan has been set in northern Indiana.

Twenty-two-year-old Lance Cpl. William Crouse IV of Woodruff, S.C., grew up in Fort Wayne and Angola, Ind., before moving to South Carolina while in high school.

Crouse was killed last week in the bombing, which his family says happened six weeks after he arrived in Afghanistan for his first tour of duty.

The Journal Gazette reports his funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Assembly of God in Fort Wayne. His burial with full military honors will follow at Covington Memorial Gardens.
