Burlington, Hampshire win at DeKalb

Burlington Central 59, Geneseo 50: The Rockets (7-5) carried a 19-point lead into the fourth quarter and held off a late charge from Geneseo to wrap up the Chuck Dayton Tournament in DeKalb with a victory. Sam Klein paced the Rockets with 17 points while Ray Hunnicutt (14 points) and Luke Fleming (10 points) also recorded double-digits. Hunnicutt was named to the All-Tournament team.

Hampshire 51, Harlem 48: The Whip-Purs (8-4) closed out the Chuck Dayton Tournament on a high note as they found themselves down by 2 points at the half but rallied back to defeat Harlem. Tyler Watzlawick led all scorers with 15 points while Shane Hernandez also contributed a double-digit performance with 11 points. Juston Bemos chipped in 7 points.

Men's basketball

Warner University 92, Judson University 81: The Eagles (5-10) were unable to pick up a victory in Florida against Warner University (5-5) despite holding a 3-point lead midway through the second half. Jim Kuban turned in an 11-of-12 performance from the free throw line on his way to a team-high 25 points while Deon Thomas and Landon Skinner rounded out the double-digit scorers for the Eagles as they recorded 12 and 10 points, respectively. Anthony Ahlers paced Judson defensively with 8 rebounds and 2 blocked shots.
