Missing woman found lying in snow in Buffalo Grove
Buffalo Grove police said they have located a woman reported missing by one of her parents early Christmas morning.
The woman, who is in her mid-20s, was reported missing about 3:30 a.m. Saturday after last being seen at a business in the Buffalo Grove Town Center, near the intersection of Lake-Cook and McHenry roads. She had been reported driving a Volkswagen.
She was found about an hour later after police located her car in the Buffalo Grove Metra station's commuter lot. Officers followed footsteps until they reached the woman, who was lying in the snow, cold and semi-coherent.
She was taken to Highland Park Hospital. A report of her condition was not immediately available.
