The endless cycle of broken promises

Wow! The Democrats hoped to pass the DREAM Act as soon as possible. It seems to me all they really wanted was votes in 2012. The election is over and all the humble promises made by both parties seem to have faded away. It's business as usual in Washington. No more, “Gee, the people have spoken and I guess we all need to work together.”

I'm not positive, but when some of our leaders were spewing this garbage I thought I saw some crossed fingers. Now we have two more years to get all upset about government and demand a change. After that it will be back to business as usual, again.
