District 95 hold lottery for ballot place

Lake Zurich Unit District 95 held a lottery to determine ballot placement for the April 5, 2011 consolidated election, on Tuesday afternoon.

The lottery was for three candidates who were “simultaneous filers,” meaning they all filed their petitions at 8 a.m. on the first day to file, Dec. 13. Those candidates will appear on the April ballot in the following order: Jim Burke, Chris Wallace, Tony Pietro.

Doug Goldberg will also appear on the ballot in the last position as he filed later than 8 a.m. on the first day. Lake Zurich's school board has three seats to fill for 4-year terms of office.
