Victims identified in highway pileup in Wisconsin

ALLENTON, Wis. — Authorities say the two people killed in a pileup on an eastern Wisconsin highway were local residents.

Two Fond du Lac men, ages 57 and 58, died when a loaded semi tanker slammed into four vehicles that were backed up on Highway 41 near Allenton because of a crash about an hour earlier.

Washington County sheriff's officials say the semi first rear-ended an SUV. The driver was killed. The SUV was pushed into a minivan. The semi then struck a second SUV. A passenger in that SUV was also killed. Four others were seriously injured.
