Dryer lint sparks Buffalo Grove fire

A lint buildup in a dryer vent caused a crawl space fire inside a Buffalo Grove home late Monday night.
The fire in the 400 block of St. Mary's Parkway was put out by firefighters within seconds of their arrival about 11:30 p.m., according to the Buffalo Grove Fire Department.
No injuries were reported, and the homeowners were back inside shortly after the fire was extinguished, fire officials said.
