Two file for Gurnee village board
Two people filed Monday to run for three trustee seats on the Gurnee village board.
Steve Park and incumbent Cheryl Ross dropped off nominating petitions on the first day of filing for the April election.
Each seat carries a four-year term.
In Woodland Elementary District 50, Chris Schrantz
and Vincent A. Juarez filed to be candidates for three, 4-year school board seats.
In Gurnee Elementary District 56, where four, 4-year school board seats will be on the ballot, incumbents Stuart Merkel, Becky Kotsinis and Brian Weir and newcomers Tim Roegner and Maria Colunga filed petitions.
Two, 4-year terms will be on the ballot in the Gurnee Park District, where newcomers Roman J. Keating III, Gerald P. Crews and Stefan Rosuck and incumbent Michelle Klemz filed to be candidates.
On the Warren-Newport Public Library board, where three 6-year terms will be on the ballot, Jo Beckwith, Mary Ann Bretzlauf and Robert Diehl Sr. filed nominating petitions.
