Trio of newcomers file to run for Hanover Park village board

A trio of newcomers filed nominating petitions with Hanover Park officials Monday to run for one of three four-year trustee terms up for election next year.

Jenni Konstanzer, James Kemper and Jon Kunkel will appear on the April 5 ballot, seeking seats currently held by trustees Toni Carter, Joseph Nicolosi and Lori Kaiser. Carter already has said she does not plan to seek re-election.

Filing for spots on the ballot continues through Monday, Dec. 20.
