Think healthy at the holidays
At the holidays, we are immersed in joyous festivities. Families gather to share the blessings and enjoy good foods. As a physician, I often remind my patients that this is the best time to give themselves best wishes.
What is good for us is to enjoy life with good quality. The good wish has to include weight control. Staying at home only makes one sluggish and is bound to encourage more eating out of boredom.
I suppose you go to the grocery store once a week. This is the time to take advantage to go to a bigger grocery store to pick up your steps before you complete your shopping.
Hopefully we all will walk into Year 2011 with confidence and a healthier outlook.
