Cops probing Elgin home invasion

Elgin police are still investigating a home invasion that took place Wednesday evening at about 8:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of Meyer Street, officials said.

Sue Olafson, spokeswoman for the Elgin Police, said there were “very minor injuries” in the reported home invasion, but would not release any further details of the incident, claiming it was still under investigation.
