Column notoriously dredges the past
Mr. Cohen's column notoriously dredges the past. His latest, scourging President Bush for invading Iraq is yet another example. Could he please stop his whining?
I think we were wrong to invade a sovereign country for no good reason. Why shouldn't the president be taken to a world court to defend his actions?
Of course, the president didn't approve this invasion in a vacuum; the U.S. Senate actually authorized the war. What good does it do to vilify this ex-president other than to try to improve the image of the sitting president. In my opinion, this finger pointing only underlines this president's own whining.
