Celebrate Christmas at St. Catherine of Siena

The faithful are welcome to come home to open their hearts and deepen their faith in celebration of Christ's birth and the New Year's Feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 845 W. Main St. in West Dundee.

In preparation of Christmas, the Sacrament of Penance (confession) will be offered on: Saturday, Dec. 18 at 8:30 a.m. and 3:15-4 p.m.; Wednesday, Dec. 22 at 7:30-7:50 a.m. and 5-6:15 p.m.; Thursday, Dec. 23 at 7:30-7:50 a.m.; and Communal Penance Service at 7 p.m.

Mass schedules for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's are: The Vigil of Christmas on Christmas Eve - Friday, Dec. 24: 4 p.m. Mass (no incense) with Adult Choir Concert at 3:30 p.m.; 7 p.m. Mass (no incense) with Christmas Carols at 6:45 p.m.; and Midnight Mass (with incense) and music prelude at 11:30 p.m.

The Nativity of the Lord Christmas Day Mass on Saturday, Dec. 25 at 9:30 a.m. (with incense) and 11:30 a.m. Mass

New Year's Eve Mass on Friday, Dec. 31 at 8 a.m. Mass for the Feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God (not obligatory this year) on

New Year's Day, Saturday, Jan. 1 at 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Sunday Mass
