Dump Don't Ask Don't Tell

As a citizen of this area, I urge my fellow neighbors and citizens to support what most Americans do repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell.

Sexual orientation has nothing to do with one's ability to serve in the military. In a time when our economy is struggling, jobs are sparse, and we continue to fight two wars, why are we wasting taxpayer time and money on whether someone who happens to be gay can fight? Who one loves and chooses to spend their nonmilitary time with is not up to the government, or anyone else.

Let's focus on the real issues: job creation, funds for education, and health care and repeal this outdated, discriminatory policy.
