Aurora Central, Geneva notch wins

Aurora Central 45, IMSA 37: The Chargers (3-4) used a 23-0 run to break a 10-10 tie at the end of the first quarter.

Ashley Wilk led the Chargers with 18 points. Jackie Cardona scored 13 and Jill Huseman added 8.

Geneva 56, West Chicago 47: Kat Yelle and Ashley Santos each scored 15 points, and the No. 13 Vikings (5-2) handed the No. 10 Wildcats their first loss in West Chicago.

West Chicago took a 45-42 lead on a Jordan Nickelson basket, but Geneva's Katelyn Allen the niece of Wildcats coach Kim Wallner hit a 3-pointer to spark a game-ending 14-2 run. Allen scored 7 of her 9 points during the run.

Mary Connolly scored 14 points and Allie Tapanes 11 for West Chicago (6-1).

St. Francis 62, Rosary 61: Kate Slattery's 3-pointer at the buzzer forced overtime, and Fiona McMahon scored all 6 of the Spartans' points in the extra session in Aurora. McMahon and Slattery each scored 13 points and Kelly Reinke 12 for St. Francis (6-3, 1-1 Suburban Christian Blue).
