School helps cancer victims

Cancer survivors can get a day of free pampering from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7 at Empire Beauty Schools as part of Cancer Survivor Beauty & Support Day. Men, women and children will be treated to free hair and nail services from students and staff on a day that is intended to make all cancer survivors feel supported and appreciated.

The program will be at from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1166 W. Lake St. in Hanover Park and 267 W. Rand Road in Arlington Heights.
