2 Hanover Park men face drug charges

Two Hanover Park men were arrested Friday night on charges of possessing marijuana with the intent to deliver.

At 7:45 p.m., Hanover Park police arrested Steve Sylfradin and Gary Swan at their home on the 1300 block of Kingsbury Drive after executing a search warrant of the residence.

Sylfradin, 25, was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance, three counts of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a park, one count of possession of cannabis over 30 grams and one count of possession of cannabis with the intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a park, according to a news release.

Swan was charged with possession of cannabis with the intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Officers found 40 grams of marijuana and several tablets of Adderall, hydrocodone and oxycodone inside the home, police said.

Swan posted bond and was released, but Sylfradin remained in police custody until his bond hearing today.
