Raise taxes, but spend judiciously

So the revenue from riverboats is shrinking since smoking has been banned. Thus the revenue on state taxes there from is also shrinking.

Light up again? My kindergarten-teaching mother taught her four of us kids, “I don't know why anyone would want to put smoke into his lungs.” A partial reason we are still kicking, averaging 80 years. The state has got to do better than that. My answer: Raise taxes and spend judiciously. Do things that promote health and get people to work. Don't turn this clock back.
