Wheeling Parks hold holiday home decorating contest
Residents who decorate their homes for the holidays are invited to enter the Wheeling Park District Holiday House Decorating Contest.
Registration for the contest is being accepted through Friday, Dec. 10, at the Community Recreation Center, 333 W. Dundee Road, in Wheeling, or online at www.wheelingparkdistrict.com. The fee for registering is $10.
Park District staff will view the outdoor decorations of registered homes on Thursday, Dec. 16, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. As long as the lights are left on, entrants are not required to be home at the time of the judging.
A prize for the best decorated house in Wheeling will be awarded the evening of December 16.
