Our freedom comes at a great cost
As I stood on the curb, American flag in hand, saluting, crying as the motorcade for Lance Cpl. James Bray Stack passed me, I was reminded that freedom is not free. This young man gave his life so my family can enjoy the things we do on a daily basis.
I think of my grandfather, father, uncles, brothers, nephew and father-in law who have served in the military. We cannot thank all military personnel enough for what they do for us.
Please thank all military people that you see. Also remember the colors of our flag, red, white and blue, because these colors do not run.
