Teachers get a better deal

In response to Dave Urbanek of the Teachers Retirement System of Illinois, I, and I am sure that most all workers in the state of Illinois, would gladly contribute an extra 3.2 percent of our wages to FICA in order to receive the average monthly benefit of $3,597, instead of the average $1,200 monthly payment received from Social Security.
