How will Obama respond to Kim?

The Daily Herald headline story Nov. 24, “Tough Korea Choice,” from The Washington Post discusses the quandary over how to respond to the most recent provocation by the insane communist kingdom of North Korea. The answer is simple and, temporarily, safe.

Respond the same way we responded in 1968 when they captured the USS Pueblo from international waters, killing one crewman and imprisoning the rest for a year. Respond the same way we responded when they shot down an unarmed intelligence aircraft in international airspace, the same way when North Korean soldiers hacked to death an American officer in the DMZ who was supervising a tree trimming detail. Or the same way we responded when they sank a South Korean ship this year.

All three Kims, Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il, and now the 20-something grandson of the original dictator, Kim Jong Un, have constantly attacked the South Koreans or the United States with impunity for the past 55 years. In fact, immediately after a provocation we usually respond by supplying food, fuel and equipment to appease them.

Now, they have nuclear weapons and the means to deliver them with missiles.

Want to guess how our current Commander-in-Chief will respond?
