The skinny: Depending on what happens over the next week, this could be the matchup at the Humanitarian Bowl. For now, the Huskies will settle for trying to end Boise State's undefeated start in hoops. The Broncos already have won at San Diego and UC Davis, which are schools with similar power ratings as NIU. Huskies senior Xavier Silas ranks second nationally in scoring with 28.8 ppg. He trails Connecticut's Kemba Walker (30.0 ppg). Boise State, which kills its opponents on the boards, goes as 6-foot-6, 176-pound senior Robert Arnold goes. He leads the way in scoring (20.4 ppg), rebounding (4.6 rpg), shooting (63 percent), 3-point shooting (55 percent), blocks (5) and steals (10).
