Make way for new King of Sin

The massive gambling-expansion bill authored by Sen. Terry Link (D-Waukegan) doesn't go far enough. If Link truly wants to make Illinois the No. 1 gambling state in the nation, I suggest he rewrite his gambling bill to authorize the use of slots inside churches, department stores, train stations, police stations, hospitals, funeral homes, drug stores, city halls, county courthouses and schools, to say the least.

But if Link really wants to add money to the state coffers for infrastructure repair, I urge him to again rewrite his gambling bill to include prostitution. Why not dens of iniquity inside all the above locations? How convenient is that? Take care of your gambling and sexual addictions all at the same venue.

Just think, then Illinois could boast at being No. 1 in gambling and prostitution. Step aside Nevada; make way for Illinois, the new King of Sin.
