Class 1A-4A state championships

Colton Glazebrook rushed for 208 yards and 2 touchdowns and also had a touchdown catch to help Rochester wrap up a perfect season and hand previously unbeaten Rock Island Alleman a 24-7 loss in the Class 4A state championship game at Memorial Stadium in Champaign.

Rochester led 10-7 at the half before producing sustained two scoring drives capped by Glazebrook in the third quarter.

Rock Island Alleman was held to 70 yards rushing and 25 yards passing.

3A: Illini West 22, Stillman Valley 20: After Illini West took a 22-14 lead in the fourth quarter on a 45-yard touchdown run by Ser Whitaker, Stillman Valley answered with a 98-yard kickoff return. But Stillman Valley's 2-point run attempt failed, and Illini West held on to cap a 14-0 season and avenge a 21-14 loss to Stillman Valley in last season's 3A title game.

Drake Schmudlach led Illini West with 129 yards rushing and a touchdown, and teammate Kyle Huss had 66 yards rushing and a touchdown.

Adam Cox led all rusher with 133 yards for Stillman Valley (13-1).

2A: Sterling Newman 48, Maroa-Forsyth 7: Sterling Newman Central Catholic produced 395 yards rushing and only attempted 1 pass in a romp.

Tim Wilson (179 yards rushing) and Joe Blessman (114) scored 3 touchdowns apiece for Sterling Newman (14-0).

Quarterback Logan Stelzriede completed 13 of 27 passes for 100 yards for Maroa-Forsyth (11-3).

1A: Lena-Winslow 47, Tuscola 14: Lena-Winslow relied on a punishing running attack in a rout of Tuscola.

The Panthers' offense piled up 385 yards and 7 touchdowns on the ground, and their defense gave up just 217 yards, mostly late, in defeating the Warriors (12-2).

Lena-Winslow (13-1) had five different players score. Junior Quinn Haas ran for 186 yards and 3 touchdowns and senior Trey Griffin added 157 yards and a score. Junior Seth Dascher, sophomore Tevin Sellers and senior Collin Heer also found the end zone.

The Panthers tied the all-time record for rushing touchdowns in a title game set in 1989 by East St. Louis.
