N. Aurora man faces child porn, sex abuse charges
A North Aurora man has been arrested on charges of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and possession of child pornography.
Kyle C. Brackett, 19, of the 1100 block of Oak Crest Drive, was charged with three counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a person younger than 13, a Class 2 felony, according to Kane County court records. The child pornography charge is a Class 3 felony. Class 2 felonies are punishable by probation or a prison term of three to seven years and a fine of up to $25,000; Class 3 felonies are punishable by probation or a prison sentence of two to five years and a fine of up to $25,000.
Bail was set at $25,000. As of Friday morning, he remains in the Kane County jail.
