20 people get sick after Wis. wedding reception
FRANKLIN, Wis. -- The Franklin Health Department is investigating after at least 20 people became sick following a wedding reception.
WISN-TV reported Thursday that the Franklin health officer refuses to say where they are investigating, but the station reports that the reception was held last Saturday at the Polish Center of Wisconsin.
The station reports the banquet manager there said they are fully cooperating in the investigation and that they passed an inspection Tuesday. He says the food came from a caterer in South Milwaukee.
Health officials sent samples to the Wisconsin State Laboratory to help track down the source and are talking to guests and workers who handled the food.
