Thanksgiving Food Drive 2010 Biggest Success Glen Crest Ever Had

The 2010 Glen Crest Middle School Student Union Thanksgiving Food Drive was the largest collection of non perishable food items that Glen Crest students have ever donated.

After the Student Union Officers counted every donated grocery item, they discovered their total was well over 2,000. Vice President Katy Brainerd announced the totals to her fellow officers and a giant cheer went up.

All the grocery items went to the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry on Friday November 19 at the end of the school day. President of the Student Union, Neal Choksi, congratulated his classmates for a job well done.
