Ides of March plan holiday show in St. Charles

Jim Peterik and the Ides of March will perform their fourth annual holiday concert at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 4 at the Norris Cultural Arts Center in St. Charles.

Tickets at $22 for reserved seats and $40 for special seating. To purchase, visit the box office from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday, or call (630) 584-7200.

The show features original holiday songs, classics, and Ides of March/Peterik hits such as “Vehicle,” “L.A. Goodbye” and “Eye of the Tiger” (written by Peterik when he was with the band Survivor).

The Ides of March reunited in 1990 after a 17-year break. The band was originally based out of Berwyn.

This year it released “Still 19,” its first album of all-new music since the early 1970s.

“We look forward to celebrating the season with our fans at the Norris,” Ides member Chuck Soumar said in a statement.

The Norris Cultural Arts Center is at 1040 Dunham Road, on the campus of St. Charles East High School. For additional information, visit NorrisCulturalArts.com.
