Mistaking hypocritic with Hippocratic?

Representative-elect Andy Harris (R-Maryland) reportedly became quite incensed during a recent orientation session for new house members when he was informed that he would need to wait a month for his government-funded health care.

Harris, who is also a physician and enthusiastic tea party member, was elected on a platform staunchly opposed to recent health care reform. Evidently his opposition to government funded health care requires a bit of clarification; he opposes any government funded health care extended to anyone other than himself.

I don't know how long Dr. Harris has been a physician, but I wonder if he may have mistaken hypocritic for Hippocratic.
