Happy for GOP victors

I extend my congratulations to the Republican candidates who were victorious in the Nov. 2 election.

State legislators representing Kane County in Springfield, judicial candidates, countywide elected officials and county board members are to be commended for their issue-oriented campaigns. My condolences to the unsuccessful Republican candidates who hopefully will seek an elective office in the future. Best wishes to our victorious Republican candidates for much future success.
