Irish LB Te'o breaks nose but should play vs USC

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Notre Dame's leading tackler, linebacker Manti Te'o, has a broken nose but should be OK to play this Saturday when the Irish visit Southern California.

Te'o, a sophomore, broke his nose Saturday night at Yankee Stadium when the Irish defeated Army 27-3. Te'o leads the Irish with 118 tackles this season.

Coach Brian Kelly said that Te'o had his nose set on Sunday, is doing well and will be cleared to play in the regular-season finale against the Trojans. Notre Dame will take a 6-5 record into that game at the Coliseum in Los Angeles.
