Palatine Township gives to WINGS

The Palatine Township Board of Trustees has voted to donate $5,000 to Women In Need Growing Together, or WINGS, to help the domestic violence agency recover from a June fire that destroyed its Palatine resale shop.

The township's Human Needs Committee recommended the donation, which was the township's second to WINGS since the blaze. WINGS has opened up a new location at 1315 N. Rand Road in Palatine and last week demolished the charred structure on Northwest Highway.
