Update: The Mavericks (7-3) just split a tightly contested two-game series with New Orleans, losing 99-97 on the road Wednesday. Dallas' top two scorers, Dirk Nowitzki at 23.6 ppg. and Jason Terry at 19.3 ppg., are shooting well above 50 percent from the field. Beyond that, it has been an adventure. SF Caron Butler just missed three games with back spasms, then came back to score 5 points against the Hornets. The Bulls have lost five straight at Dallas.
